develop a positive self-image through musical
accomplishment and performance.

-
realize the value of a musical education as an
intellectual, physical and emotional experience that
relates to all aspects of living and learning.
Each of the 5th grade performing groups gives a concert in the spring. Each of our 6th grade performing groups
gives two concerts a year, in the winter and the spring. These
performances are held at Longwood High School.
In addition, many
of our students receive scores of excellent and outstanding in
the New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) Solo
Festival and are selected to participate in the Suffolk County
Music Educators Association (SCMEA) All County Band.
