American Indians lived on Long Island hundreds of years before the Europeans first arrived. There are at least six pre-historic documented sites within the borders of the Longwood School District. To avoid the destruction of these sites the location will not be disclosed, but we will provide all other important information. Currently, students are participating in a number of archeological digs, looking to locate ancient artifacts
