Dating from circa 1850. The home has been in the family of the present owner since 1895. Before that it was the home of Rosewell Davis who was the town clerk from 1890-1894. Rosewell Davis was also manager of the Suffolk branch of Sun Insurance Company- the oldest fire insurance company in the world.
