John Davis was
inducted into the army on February 21, 1946. At the time of his
induction, he was a resident of Coram, NY.
Davis was discharged from the
army for medical reasons. He had been repeatedly hospitalized for
pneumonia. He was discharged on November 9, 1946 from Camp Sibert
in Gadsden, Alabama after serving his country faithfully for nine
months. Camp Sibert was a Chemical Warfare Training Center.
